Inspiration:
The development of One More Run was heavily inspired by Geometry Wars and Enter The Gungeon. As a Uni project tasked with the intent of becoming Geometry Wars spiritual successor, we built our game off its foundation of a never-ending, fast paced top down combat experience. However, we knew we wanted players to still have their own unique experience when playing. So to add our own twist to the concept, we were also inspired by Enter The Gungeons roguelike elements, and wanted to leverage these same elements into our own concept to increase its overall replayability and gameplay experience.
About Us:
We are a group of first-time developers who have come together during our second trimester of University as students to create a game that is short, sweet and easy to learn, but hard to master. We wanted to create One More Run as our first project because we not only want to show ourselves off in different fields, but we want to keep developing for the foreseeable future so that we can hopefully turn our skills into a career!
We're aware that there's going to be bugs and glitches, as this is out first game. If you encounter any issues throughout the game, please leave a comment down below or email us on: 1022875@student.sae.edu.au. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated for future iterations!
